Applications are invited for the post of Senior Team Leader in National 5 History Assignment.
A Senior Team Leader is responsible for supporting the Principal Assessor and Depute Principal Assessor and managing the Team Leaders to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained. Applicants must currently be involved in the delivery and assessment of National 5 History and have experience in other key appointee roles demonstrating competence in assessing to the national standard.

The Senior Team Leader will require up to 4 days release and will also be required to undertake duties in their own time (evenings/weekends) to fulfil the duties of this post.
The Senior Team Leader will be required on the following dates to attend procedural meetings in 2026:
1. Pre standardisation: at home in own time: Monday 23 March
2. Standardisation: Face to Face meeting: Tuesday 24 - Saturday 28 March
3. Markers meeting: Tuesday 7 April. Own time will also be required to support a team of Team Leaders during marking
4. Results services: Thursday 2 - Saturday 4 July
A responsibility fee and daily rates are paid for own time duties as well as release compensation.
