This is a leadership role overseeing a team whilst also building on your current experience within a strong team.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and design structural modifications for nuclear power plants.
* Supervise and mentor engineering teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Develop engineering reports, design drawings, and structural calculations for modification tasks.
* Review and evaluate codes, specifications, and construction documents for compliance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and project efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Professional Engineering (PE) license and seismic design expertise.
* Proficiency in STAAD Pro, MathCAD, ANSYS, and SAP2000.
* Experience with nuclear modifications and Duke Energy projects is a plus.
