OverviewThe Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) will report to the Co-Head of Core HR UK & Middle East and will act as a trusted advisor supporting approximately 500 employees. The role is responsible for providing a strong HR service and support to both Shared Services business clients as well as supporting the HR agenda. Responsibility for the implementation of our policies, processes and procedures, this role is responsible for managing complex and sensitive day-do-day people management and employee relations issues. Drive improved service delivery and support the Co-Head with projects. The role requires an excellent knowledge of all core and operational HR related topics impacting the employee life cycle including Employee Relations and Immigration. Areas of Accountability:Delivery of the HR cycleproactively with the delegated client group on high volume and complex employee relations issues, including; immigration, employee exits, redundancy programmesand develop HR policies and procedures assisting the Co-Head of Core HR UK & Middle East as legislation changes and implement these across the business working with key stakeholdersanalytical support from Oracle reportsinfluence, develop and coach people managers to manage employment issueson absence management and occupational health issues, seeking specialist advice as appropriateclosely with HR Specialists to help resolve queries which arise directly from the businessall Oracle related activities for your clientsof ER matters whilst keeping senior colleagues appraisedline managers on probation, absence management, performance and management issuesyour client groups on the impact of employee contract amendments and ensure all amendments are approved in accordance with delegated authorityguide and mentor line managers and senior leaders in their HR leadership functions and responsibilities.develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to understand current HR priorities and associated risksLine Managers with the annual compensation process guidelines; guide managers on how to distribute salary and bonus across their business areasSkills / Experience:as a Senior HRBP with leadership capabilityof conducting complex investigations and managing significant employee relations challengesunderstanding of UK employment lawunderstanding of UK Immigration Lawcommercialability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with leaders at all levelslevels of trust, humility and integritycommunication skills: written and verbal, including a high level of attention to detail.Skills:HCMtechnology skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Pointknowledge and understanding of UK Employment and Immigration Lawalert to Conduct Risk, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity and/or competition in financial markets due to inappropriate practices or behaviours across the firmqualifiedinterpersonal skills, ability to influence others and handle conflictexperience and exposure in handling sensitive employee relations and dismissal situationsto work independently and on own initiative, is a good team playeran eye for detail and whilst aligning with policy is able to use judgmentanalytical skillsBGC Group & affiliates do not accept agency resumes.
