OVERVIEW
Lawes are currently partnered with a leading global broker who due to expansion are seeking a proactive and experienced Corporate Account Handler - Team Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic account handling team. Our client will consider an individual with a Senior background who is looking to progress their career into a more managerial role. This role is perfect for a motivated knowledgeable professional with a strong background in account handling and commercial account management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead develop and manage a team of corporate account handlers ensuring optimal team performance and employee satisfaction.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service to clients while ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving business growth.
* Oversee the management of complex commercial accounts providing expert guidance and support to the team.
* Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value clients and ensure delivery of exceptional tailored client service aligned with business goals.
* Drive business retention and growth initiatives by building long-lasting client relationships and identifying cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
* Monitor team KPIs and ensure compliance with company policies procedures and industry regulations.
* Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
* Maintain clear communication between team members clients and senior management to ensure transparent and smooth operations.
* Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate the best products and terms for clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience in account handling with a specific focus on commercial account handling in the corporate sector.
* Key leadership skills is essential
* Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams with a track record of fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
* Strong understanding of commercial insurance products policies and market trends.
* Excellent leadership coaching and mentoring skills to ensure the professional development of team members.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with team members clients and senior leaders.
* Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems insurance-related software and Microsoft Office Suite.
