Job Title: Occupational Therapist Grade: Band 6 Location: Rotherham, Yorkshire Working Hours: 15 hours per week Rate: Competitive — details to be discussed upon application We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client in Rotherham, Yorkshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract. Key Responsibilities Manage a defined caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence-based and client-centred principles. Conduct comprehensive assessments of functional abilities, sensory needs, and daily living skills. Plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions to promote independence and participation in daily life. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic care. Provide supervision and support to junior staff and students. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and legal standards. Qualifications & Experience Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally in community or mental health settings Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills Experience working within multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in occupational therapy How to Apply If your expertise aligns with this role, apply today!
