Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. This position focuses on managing the company's internal accounts, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software. The role involves handling internal financial processes and collaborating with other departments to maintain seamless operations, with an emphasis on detail and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage full accounting function including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to UK accounting standards.
* Monitor financial performance, analyze trends, and provide management reporting.
* Ensure statutory compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll obligations.
* Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow aligned with company growth plans.
* Implement and maintain financial controls and internal procedures.
* Support software development, hosting, and web portal projects with financial insights.
* Work with project managers to track costs and ensure financial accountability.
Requirements / Skills:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or senior accountant.
* Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
* Knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, and tax compliance.
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Experience in software, hosting, or web portal projects preferred.
* Ability to supervise and support junior finance staff.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
