You’ll join a small business, with a huge potential, working hand-in-hand with the UK MD with the purpose of growing sales across the business.
You’ll be selling a range of products – including fittings, couplings, and valves used in construction and agriculture – to builders’ merchants (both national and independent) and specialist distributors (agri and drainage) across the UK. Your week will be a mix of:
Visiting new prospects and existing clients nationwide.
Managing and growing current accounts through strong relationships.
Driving new business to expand the UK footprint. You’ll be on the road with weekly overnight stays, so flexibility and a positive approach to travel are a must
What You’ll Need
Proven experience within sales and business development, ideally within construction, manufacturing, agriculture, or selling into builders’ merchants/distribution.
A proactive, new-business mindset – this isn’t just about maintaining accounts.
Comfortable working in a small business environment – proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of your role.
Flexibility to travel across the UK with overnight stays as required. What’s on Offer
Up to £40,000 basic salary + bonus.
Company vehicle after probation.
Field-based role – typically one day a week in the office, the rest in the field or working from home.
