Learning Support Assistant - 1:1 SEN Support Required In Wigan
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and social-emotional difficulties. This is a rewarding full-time role, offering the chance to:
1. Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs
2. Apply your understanding of psychology to assist with learning and behaviour strategies

What We're Looking For
1. A degree in Psychology or a related field, with an interest in SEN and child development
2. Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in education, care, youth work, or tutoring)
3. A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting learners
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
5. A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people
