We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career and help us deliver exceptional service across commercial and public sector sites.
Job Overview
As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing and working alongside a small team to deliver scheduled maintenance tasks across a portfolio of sites. You will be expected to uphold company standards, maintain safe working practices, and ensure all work is carried out efficiently, professionally, and in line with site specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a small team to carry out scheduled grounds maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, and seasonal work.
* Manage and navigate a daily rota of regular sites, following boundary plans and specific client requirements.
* Operate and maintain a full range of grounds maintenance machinery (e.g. zero-turn mowers, flails, Scags, strimmers).
* Ensure your company vehicle and equipment are clean, safe, and ready for use each day.
* Take responsibility for on-site performance, appearance, and health & safety compliance.
* Complete site inspection reports and communicate effectively using mobile apps and WhatsApp.
* Uphold high standards of presentation and customer service on every job.
