Roles And Responsibilities
* Review enquiries to ensure the ability to supply compliant quotations within the companys product range.
* Ensure all quotations are 100 accurate, including relevant margins, and comply with certification requirements.
* Manage quote amendments pre: and post:sale to meet customer and project needs. Raise DFAs (Design for Approval) when required, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Communicate regularly with external customers to ensure comprehensive and compliant quotations.
* Maintain regular customer contact regarding key quotations to address inquiries and updates.
* Answer general technical enquiries, including specifications, certifications, and building regulations, consulting the technical team when necessary.
* Follow all standard operating procedures and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
* Continuously look for ways to improve the quoting process and contribute to operational efficiencies.
* Ensure KPIs related to estimation and customer engagement are met consistently.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer role
* Educated to HNC level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline would be beneficial.
* Lean Management
* Must be fully proficient in the use of software Microsoft office. Experience of 2D and / or 3D CAD would be beneficial.
* A proven track record of implementing improvements in processes and operational effectiveness
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
