Job Opportunity: QSHE Manager
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by an industry-leading FM organisation to recruit a new Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) Manager. This role will lead the health and safety programs for a major site in Surrey, ensuring compliance across various departments and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing health and safety team, aiming to drive positive change in a professional and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the QSHE Manager include:
* Engaging with key stakeholders to improve the health and safety culture among staff, subcontractors, and site operatives
* Maintaining high standards of supplier performance and developing health and safety management systems aligned with best practices
* Analyzing risks in the working environment and implementing changes to mitigate them
* Ensuring contractors comply with legislation and company guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and relevant professional membership
* Proven experience in the built environment, preferably in facilities management (Hard FM)
* Experience influencing and engaging subcontractors to foster safety and compliance culture
* Strong understanding of ISO systems (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001)
* Experience in life sciences/R&D is advantageous
