A top-tier law firm is seeking a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join its dynamic Compliance team in one of its offices across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional to play a key role in enhancing the firm's conflict checking processes. You'll be responsible for making informed, risk-based decisions, recommending appropriate safeguards, and advising on high-profile matters across the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
* Acting as the first point of contact for conflict queries, providing clear, practical advice to legal teams.
* Reviewing conflict reports, assessing potential legal or commercial conflicts, and ensuring compliance with firm policies and conduct rules.
* Investigating new and changing instructions for conflict risks and liaising with partners and fee earners to resolve issues.
* Advising on conflict clearance conditions.
* Maintaining conflict management systems and supporting continuous improvements.
* Assisting in drafting and updating conflict policies, procedures, templates, and delivering related training.
Skills and Experience:
* 3 years' experience in a law firm with a focus on conflicts of interest.
* Extensive knowledge of professional conflicts rules in England and Wales.
* Experience using Intapp or a similar onboarding tool is preferred.
