Our London Finance practice is led by senior Partners with extensive track records in:
* Direct lending, leveraged finance, special situations debt, restructurings, and cross-over credit financings for European and US banks, funds, sponsors, and corporate borrowers.
* Private credit, bespoke financing, acquisition finance, fund finance, and project/infrastructure finance across EMEA, including sovereign-backed and export credit transactions.
* Sectors including renewable energy, transport, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and lead financing transactions across a variety of sectors.
* Structure and draft documentation for:
* Direct lending, leveraged and acquisition financing
* Private credit, fund financing, NAV, capital call, and hybrid facilities
* Project and infrastructure finance in areas such as energy, renewables, and transportation
* Provide practical, commercial legal advice to banks, asset managers, sponsors, and borrowers.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s global Banking & Financial Services and Project & Infrastructure Finance practices.
* Engage in business development and client relationship management.
Who We’re Looking For
* Newly Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with experience in banking, finance, or structured lending.
* Interest or expertise in: Direct lending, acquisition finance, private credit, Project/infrastructure finance or fund-related financing
* Proven ability to manage complex, structured, cross-border financing transactions.
* Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.
* Commercial mindset, collaborative approach, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
