Exterior Lead Engineer | Automotive Exterior Systems | 12-Month Contract We are looking for an experienced Exterior Lead Engineer to support the development of next-generation vehicle exterior systems within a leading automotive engineering programme. This role will take ownership of bumper, grille, exterior trim and underfloor component development from concept through to production. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience leading exterior systems development within an automotive OEM or Tier 1 environment Strong background in bumpers, grilles, exterior finishers, trims, appliques and underfloor systems CATIA V6 / 3DX experience Knowledge of plastic injection moulding, tooling and manufacturing processes Understanding of aerodynamic requirements, pedestrian safety regulations and automotive quality standards Experience managing APQP activities, engineering change requests and supplier relationships Ability to drive component validation, vehicle testing and issue resolution through to sign-off Degree qualified in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
