Are you a lawyer passionate about the intersection of energy, construction, and sustainability? This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing business at the forefront of the clean-energy and infrastructure transition, working on major projects that combine electrification, fleet transformation, and large-scale construction delivery.
The Role
You’ll be part of a lean, high-impact legal team supporting the rollout of complex infrastructure and energy projects, from charging networks and battery storage solutions to large-scale construction and installation frameworks.
This hands-on role spans commercial, corporate, and compliance responsibilities, giving you exposure to cutting-edge work across construction, technology and regulated energy markets. You’ll advise on contracts and transactions, support governance and regulatory readiness, and help strengthen the company’s compliance framework as it scales.
What You’ll Do
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction, supply, technology and commercial contracts.
* Support business readiness for regulated energy and finance activities (FCA, OFGEM, REMIT).
* Assist with the rollout of compliance systems and controls relating to KYC, whistleblowing, and gifts & entertainment.
* Research legal issues and provide pragmatic, commercial advice to project and operations teams.
* Help design and implement a robust compliance and governance framework.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified lawyer (around 3–5 PQE) trained at a reputable firm.
* Strong foundation in law ideally with experience in construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
* Exposure to or interest in regulatory compliance — such as energy regulation, finance leasing or data governance.
* Confident communicator with sound judgement and attention to detail.
* Collaborative, energetic, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
