An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our Older Peoples Therapy Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist.
This role offers support to enhance your clinical practice and develop extended skills in frailty, working alongside our innovative Older Person's Team in the hospital. You will utilize excellent clinical and leadership skills, work holistically, and contribute to team training and supervision.
The position also provides opportunities to develop managerial skills and lead service development within the team and wider services.

* HCPC Registration
* Base Location: Poole Hospital (moving to Royal Bournemouth site in 2026)

You will develop specialised skills in frailty, managing a caseload focused on promoting recovery through early assessment of occupational performance, movement, handling, equipment, and cognition. Collaboration with health and community providers will be essential to enable Discharge to Assess and Home First Principles.
This role involves supporting patients both in hospital and at home to ensure they receive appropriate services in the right setting.
To be successful, you should have:
* At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist covering core rotations
* Experience working at a junior level within the NHS
* Willingness to participate in 7-day working on a rota
* Ability to drive, hold a clean driver's license, and have access to a car
