SEND Teaching Assistant - Horncastle

Aspire People Education Agency is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students aged 5 to 16 in a school that celebrates diversity and promotes positive learning. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is committed to providing tailored support for everyone.

* Be part of a school that builds strong, positive relationships between students and staff to enable successful learning.
* Support a restorative approach that helps students understand, regulate, and ultimately self-regulate their behaviour positively.
* Assist with interventions across a wide range of needs, ensuring every student gets the support they require.
* Work within a whole-school communication approach, including Makaton signing, verbal communication, symbols, and visual timetables.
* Help students develop independence and life skills, including travel training, work experience, and preparation for adulthood.
What we're looking for:
* Enthusiasm for supporting young people with additional needs
* Any experience working with children is highly desirable
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education
Details:
* Location: Horncastle
* Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (term-time only)
* Pay: Teaching Assistants from £105 per day
