We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant ENT Surgeon (Otolaryngologist) to join our dynamic surgical department. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an exceptional opportunity to manage a diverse caseload while utilizing advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients with conditions of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of otolaryngological conditions, including sinus disorders, hearing loss, tonsillar and adenoidal disease, voice and swallowing disorders, and head and neck pathologies.
* Perform and interpret diagnostic examinations, including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and audiological evaluations.
* Perform a variety of surgical procedures, which may include endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, and septorhinoplasty (sub-specialty interest can be accommodated).
* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for both adult and pediatric patients.
* Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians.
* Actively participate in clinical audits, research initiatives, and continuous professional development (CPD).
* Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and teaching to junior doctors, residents, and medical students.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Completion of a recognized specialty training program in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery.
* Board certification (or international equivalent) in ENT.
* Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for registration.
* Proven clinical and surgical experience in otolaryngology. A sub-specialty interest (e.g., Otology, Rhinology, Laryngology) is highly advantageous.
* Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Must be willing to relocate to Canada. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are provided.
