The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our small Pharmacy team at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital. Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager, your responsibilities include:
* Providing in‑house pharmacy services
* Assisting with dispensing
* Carrying out procurement, distribution, stock taking and the replenishment of pharmacy items to the ward and departments
* Attending hospital and department meetings
The Person
To succeed as a Pharmacy Technician you will:
* Hold NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent
* Be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Have experience working in a hospital for at least one year or at least two years in community pharmacy
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Possess strong IT skills
* Deliver excellent people and customer service, working closely with patients and the hospital team
* Be highly organised, analytical, and detail‑oriented
* Be able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Working Hours
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
