About the Role
We are looking for a committed and inspiring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our warm and supportive primary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping pupils flourish in a nurturing and purposeful learning environment.
You will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers and contributing to the wider life of the school.
What You Will Do
Support the class teacher in delivering creative, engaging and well-structured lessons.
Provide targeted support for individuals or small groups to help pupils make strong progress.
Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
Assist with planning, preparation of resources and general classroom organisation.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
A warm, approachable and proactive manner.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A genuine desire to support children's learning, confidence and personal development.
