Overview
As a Nursery Nurse / EYFS Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's growth and development, working alongside a dedicated and passionate team to create a safe and enriching environment for our youngest learners.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Early Years Development - Help children develop through a range of fun and engaging activities tailored to their individual needs.
* Implementing the EYFS Framework - Ensure that the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is delivered effectively, supporting children's learning and development.
* Observing and Assessing - Regularly observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records and using this information to tailor learning experiences.
* Creating a Safe and Nurturing Environment - Foster a caring, supportive, and safe environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore.
* Collaborating with Team Members - Work closely with fellow practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring the nursery is a positive, dynamic place for both staff and children.
* Building Strong Relationships with Parents - Support communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates and engaging them in their child's progress.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Holds a Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential for this role.
* Has experience in Early Years settings - Experience working in an EYFS or nursery environment is highly desirable.
* Is passionate about child development - Enthusiastic about supporting children's growth and well-being, and excited to implement the EYFS curriculum.
* Has strong communication skills - Able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Is a team player - Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to working in a team to create an outstanding early years experience.
* Is caring and nurturing - Compassionate and able to create a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive.
