About the Role
This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months (a further 3 month's for End Point Assessments if required).
Apprenticeship pay rates for this post are dependent on age. Please see below for the applicable rates:
Level 2 Apprenticeship Rates
Under 18 years £14,874 per annum
18-20 years £19,600 per annum
21+ years £23,555 per annum
Leeds City College are recruiting for an Apprentice Curriculum Administrator to join our team in the School of Engineering & Manufacturing at Printworks Campus. The successful candidate will be enrolled onto the Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship where you develop your skills and experience and attain the Level 2 Customer Service qualification whilst in the role.
The School of Engineering & Manufacturing, at Printworks Campus are a growing department, and as such is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking Apprentice Curriculum Administrator to work with all our stakeholders.
What You Will Do
1. Help make sure the Curriculum delivery team runs smoothly by organising documents for course sign-ups and completions.
2. Keep student and apprentice records up-to-date, including attendance, job outcomes, changes, and other reports.
3. Handle phone calls and in-person questions from both internal staff and external customers in a professional manner.
4. Keep stakeholders informed through newsletters and updates to parents.
5. Assist with student enrolments and work with the central MIS/Marketing teams during the main enrolment period.
6. Work with your manager to help plan and support College events like parents’ evenings, open evenings, and award ceremonies.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
7. A genuine interest in helping others, particularly when interacting with students, parents, and staff.
8. Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other standard office software
9. Able to adjust to changing situations and tasks quickly, especially when supporting enrolments or attending college events.
10. A positive attitude towards the role, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
11. Understanding of how to enter, update, and maintain student data accurately. Basic knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality rules is important
