Overview
A prestigious position has arisen working at Watford Football Club Training Ground in London Colney, Hertfordshire, joining a small but dedicated team. The role involves night security shifts with overtime opportunities, lone working, and regular client contact. A passion for football is helpful but not mandatory; a fast-paced environment and clear communication are essential. You will perform regular foot patrols, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and join a team dedicated to safety and security at a remote site.
Responsibilities
* Work as the Site Security Officer to create a secure environment for customers, their employees, and visitors.
* Promote confidence with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards.
* Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy.
* Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, and events; escalate to Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre as appropriate.
* Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover.
* Utilise relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
* Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and report incidents.
* Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and encourage accident / near-miss reporting.
* Prevent unauthorised access to the site by persons, vehicles, or objects.
* Respond promptly to unplanned events or incidents.
* Collaborate with the customer's FM team and complete relevant tasks.
* Engage in training and development as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Previous night shift experience is essential.
* Minimum 3 years of regular front line security experience due to the remote location of the site.
* A valid driver’s license and regular, reliable transport.
* Must be confident in lone working and an excellent communicator.
* Experience performing regular foot patrols and monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
* SIA Guarding / Door Supervision license is essential; CCTV license is an advantage (training can be given to the right candidate).
* Must have the right to work and obtain the relevant clearance; TCFM does not sponsor individuals without current rights to work.
