About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for a sharp-eyed Quality Assurance Consultant to take the lead in ensuring our commercial insurance processes are not just compliant, but exceptional.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of our quality assurance efforts, conducting in-depth reviews that keep us aligned with industry standards and regulatory expectations. You’ll audit new business, renewal and mid-term adjustment cases, analyse case handler records for key insights, and spot trends that help shape smarter decisions.
You’ll also be the go-to expert for assessing risk and quality across the board, reporting regularly on our performance, and working closely with our operations and technical portfolio managers to drive continuous improvement. Your work will influence how we stay ahead of the curve, especially regarding FCA compliance.
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development and undergo regular re-screening to show they are of “Good Repute”. Further information can be found in the FCA Handbook.
About you
You’re an experienced professional with a strong background in conducting quality reviews within the commercial insurance or broking sector. Your extensive knowledge of commercial insurance is complemented by your proven ability to perform thorough audit reviews.
You excel in coaching and providing constructive feedback, helping to elevate team performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your understanding of FCA frameworks, customer conduct, and consumer duty further enhances your capability to maintain high standards of quality and compliance. If you are passionate about excellence and detail-oriented, you will thrive in this role.
