Supply Chain Manager Location: Manchester Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Overview The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing subcontractors and key suppliers across construction projects. This role involves coordinating the pre-engagement evaluation process, maintaining and improving cost and rate structures, monitoring supplier performance, and managing supply chain data. The successful candidate will take ownership of developing strong supply chain relationships and building long-term partnerships to support the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate potential new subcontractors and suppliers through the established pre-engagement process. Maintain and update subcontractor and supplier records to ensure all information remains accurate and up to date, including scope of services, insurance, competency documentation, and any exclusions or restrictions. Identify gaps within the supply chain and target suitable companies for engagement and approval, focusing on quality, health and safety, and value for money. Negotiate, establish, and improve subcontractor and supplier rates, ensuring current commercial information is maintained for use in the estimating process.
