JML JobMatcha are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Site Supervisor to join a major long-term civils project in the Stowmarket area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being both on the tools and leading site activity, not just managing from the office.
The project will begin with Ground Investigation (GI) works, progressing into pylon base installation and wider infrastructure works, offering long-term stability and progression over multiple phases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and supervising site operatives on a busy civils project
* Working alongside the team on the ground as well as overseeing activities
* Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
* Supporting coordination between engineers, subcontractors, and management
* Maintaining basic site records and reporting progress
What we’re looking for:
* SMSTS (essential)
* Gold CSCS Card (minimum)
* Experience in civils, groundworks, or infrastructure projects
* Comfortable working hands-on as well as supervising a team
* Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead operative role
