Office and Warehouse Assistant
A successful engineering distributor is seeking an Office and Warehouse Assistant to join their expanding Leeds-based team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in building a career with a company that invests in its personnel.
The position is based in an office/warehouse environment specializing in the distribution of fluid and gas pipe connectors, serving industries such as power stations, offshore platforms, and chemical plants within the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
* Manage inbound and outbound communications with clients
* Organize and manage client accounts
* Process inbound and outbound stock domestically and internationally
* Break down stock
* Load and unload vehicles
* Pressure test hire tooling
* Generate customer documents using Sage 200 system
* Prepare quotations, invoices, sales orders, and purchase orders
* Support various business operations as needed
Candidate Qualities
* No prior experience with Sage 200 required; training provided
* Willingness to take on new challenges in a hands-on, varied role
* Confident telephone manner
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks
* Flexible and adaptable to daily changes
* Team player and capable of working independently
* Understanding of Office 365 and general computer literacy
* Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects
