Marketing Executive
Marketing Manchester (MM) is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Marketing Executive to join its team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping, executing, and evaluating strategic marketing initiatives that position Manchester as a premier destination for leisure tourism.

Marketing Manchester is the city-region’s Destination Marketing Organisation and promotes Greater Manchester nationally and internationally as a place to visit, invest, meet and study.
Key Responsibilities
1. Input into, and occasionally lead, the planning, execution, and evaluation of leisure marketing campaigns, events, trade shows, and familiarisation visits.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, securing input and approvals across a range of marketing opportunities and collateral.
3. Collaborate across departments to ensure all activities are delivered on time, and within budget.
4. Contribute to strategic planning and support the rollout of marketing activity.
5. Optimise marketing budgets to achieve maximum impact and ROI.
About you
6. Proven expertise in marketing and communications, gained through previous work experience, or backed by a professional qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or Tourism.
7. A keen interest in destination marketing and promoting Greater Manchester as a place to visit.
8. A confident, collaborative, and solutions-focused individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Skills Required
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce high-quality documents, presentations, and reports.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working across diverse teams.
11. Strong planning and organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
12. Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a focus on engaging and impactful messaging.
