Job Description As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in the Midlands to find an experienced and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join the Substance Misuse service across Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner with a passion for supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse. Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical interventions to service users accessing substance misuse support. Prescribe for both alcohol and opiate substitution treatments. Conduct clinical reviews and manage an independent caseload post-induction. Work in line with best practice regarding Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs), needle and syringe programmes (NSP), detox and rehab pathways. Accurately input and manage clinical records (Illy system experience desirable; training provided) Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful teams in the country. This role is full-time working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Requirements Registered Pharmacist OR Nurse (GPhC or NMC Registration) Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification Experience working as an Independent NMP within a drug and alcohol service Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
