Role Details:
The purpose of the role is to lead a team of planners across the portfolio and act as the Primavera P6 SME. Own and maintain all planning processes and procedures, ensuring they’re up to date and effective. Govern the Level 2 schedule and drive the integrated plan with the customer, delivering accurate monthly updates, forecasts, and reports. Continue to develop project-specific schedules, maintain a clear baseline, and enforce strong baseline control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Planning team, ensuring robust processes, schedule governance, and Primavera P6 best practice across the full project lifecycle.
2. Develop, maintain, and report against integrated project schedules, including QSRA, baseline management, and EVM/cost/resource-loaded data.
3. Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to deliver monthly schedule updates, forecasts, and performance analysis, identifying variances and implementing mitigation plans.
4. Collaborate with project controls (cost, estimating, document control) to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
5. Facilitate Interactive Planning (IAP) sessions to drive risk mitigation and identify opportunities for improvement.
Role Requirements:
6. Proven leadership experience and expert knowledge of Primavera P6.
7. Extensive planning experience on major, multi-discipline projects (including NEC contracts) across all lifecycle stages.
8. Strong understanding of planning techniques, risk and change management, and construction methods, plant, and labour.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
