Join to apply for the Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist role at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The post is based at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust within the Critical Care Rehabilitation and Follow-up Service (CCRFS) as an 8B Psychologist Lead (0.53 WTE) at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough. The vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current postholder.
This is a leadership position with managerial and supervisory responsibilities for our 8A Clinical Psychologist working at the Frimley Park Critical Care site. The CCRFS is a national leader in critical care recovery, supporting adults from hospital to the community and recently awarded an Outstanding CQC rating. Responsibilities
* Lead psychologist role with managerial and supervisory responsibilities for an 8A Clinical Psychologist.
* Work within an applied psychology model and with the CCRFS multidisciplinary team (nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and intensivists).
* Contribute to the development of psychology services across inpatient and outpatient settings and participate in MDT complex decision-making.
* Embed trauma-informed care and support colleagues working in a challenging environment.
* Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to system-wide CPD and leadership development within SABP and FHFT networks.
* Collaborate with the CCRFS Lead for both acute sites to develop psychology services and drive clinical initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Lead psychologist (8B level) with experience in leadership, supervision, and working within critical care or similar high-acuity settings.
* Ability to work within an applied psychology model and demonstrate strong team skills and inclusivity.
* Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings and contributing to MDT decision-making.
