An exciting opportunity is available for a National Account Manager to join an award-winning FMCG business.
The position is working with Boots who is the business's largest customer. The role is a versatile position with a vast amount of autonomy, reporting directly to the Commercial Controller.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
* Responsibility for the business's largest customer in Boots
* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships
* Generation of Joint Business Plans for each customer to drive growth at agreed levels of profitability for the Brand
* Understand customer KPIs, targets and review performance frequently to reach category standards and agreed SLAs
* Continuously develop the account via monitoring and implementation of JBPs and NPD
* Take full ownership of all agreed promotional activity
* Review promotional performance to determine future activity
* Be responsible for the P&L
* Be resourceful and employ innovative solutions to deliver value, gross margin & volume targets
* Contribute to the wider sales team and support other colleagues with their accounts
* Share your ideas and help contribute to team goals and ambitions
* Manage high volume SKU level CPA's
* Clearly communicate with all internal and external departments
Ideally you will have some of the following experiences:
* Boots account management experience - This is a must-have for this position
* A proven track record of overperformance both personally and vs. the market
* Well-versed with insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
* Experience with Nielsen / Kantar coupled with EPOS and Financial Data would be advantageous but not compulsory
* A self-starter that is able to work autonomously
* A good level of commercial acumen
* Previous experience managing and delivering promotional plans with a national account
* Personable and engaging with the ability to adapt when engaging internally and externally
