Chef de Partie – Tenby Golf Club
Tenby Golf Club is excited to welcome a Chef de Partie to join the team at our newly opened hotel, restaurant, and bar facility.
Located on Wales' oldest golf course—established in 1888—our purpose-built venue features 22 stylish bedrooms, a 40-cover restaurant, a 30-cover private dining room, and a welcoming bar and coffee lounge. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality environment set within the beautiful surroundings of our 18-hole links course.
Role Overview:
As Chef de Partie, You'll take ownership of a specific section and play an integral role in the overall success of our kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
* Handle and prepare meat, fish, and vegetables with precision
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations
* Help mentor junior kitchen staff
* Control portion sizes and minimise waste
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and proper rotation
What We're Looking For:
* At least 1 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of running a kitchen section independently
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for learning and innovation
* A reliable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
* Good spoken and written English
Desirable Qualifications:
* City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2
* NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent
