If so, we want to hear from you! Role Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Northampton. You will work closely with children who have special educational needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 or group support to pupils with SEN Support learning during lessons and break/lunchtimes Assist the class teacher with daily activities Help maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students The ideal candidate will: The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Must Experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH or a keen interest to pursue this A kind, caring and patient manner when working with children The ability to communicate effectively with other members of staff The ability to differentiate lessons to suit the needs of all children Full time availability Have previous experience working with SEN children Be committed, patient, and reliable Show initiative and a proactive attitude – must Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) Have permanent UK residency – essential What’s in It for You?
