About this Role
The School Administrator and Receptionist provides essential administrative and front‑of‑house support, ensuring the smooth and efficient day‑to‑day operation of the school office. The role will include being the receptionist on a Friday and covering during the week as required.
Acting as the first point of contact, the postholder welcomes visitors, manages telephone and email enquiries, and supports pupils, parents, staff, and external agencies in a professional and friendly manner. The role includes maintaining accurate records, supporting school systems and processes, assisting senior leaders, and handling sensitive information with discretion.
The postholder will also liaise with the School Nursing Team to organise and coordinate pupil vaccination programmes, ensuring accurate communication with parents/carers and the confidential handling of medical information.
The postholder must be well organised, approachable, and able to work effectively in a busy environment while upholding the school’s values and safeguarding responsibilities.
