Head of Commercial, Sundeals

Location: UK or Europe
Reporting to: Managing Director, Sundeals
Scope: International

The opportunity

Sundeals is being built as TUI’s international value travel business, designed to move faster, operate leaner, and win with customers looking for great value without compromise.

We are now looking for a Head of Commercial to play a central role in shaping and scaling this business. This is a senior leadership role with real breadth, covering product, sourcing, pricing, on-sale performance and commercial strategy across multiple markets.

It is a chance to help define how Sundeals works, not just run an existing model, and to build a modern, data-led commercial engine that supports profitable growth.

What you will be responsible for

As Head of Commercial, you will own the end-to-end commercial performance of Sundeals, working closely with Product, Marketing, Finance and regional teams.

Your core accountabilities include:

Commercial and product strategy

1. Set and lead the commercial and product strategy for Sundeals, aligned to our value proposition and growth plans

2. Translate market insight, customer behaviour and performance data into clear priorities and actions

Product portfolio and destinations

3. Shape and manage the accommodation portfolio strategy across markets and destinations

4. Ensure the right balance of choice, quality and value for our customers

5. Oversee investment decisions and performance of contracted product

Sourcing and contracting

6. Lead accommodation sourcing stregy and contracting, with a strong focus on agility, flexibility and value

7. Maximise the performance across the different sourcing methods available within the group and directly within Sundeals

8. Build and maintain senior relationships with key accommodation partners

Pricing, channels and on-sale

9. Define pricing principles, promotional frameworks and channel strategies

10. Ensure inventory is optimised on sale, with strong coordination between sourcing, revenue management and trading teams

11. Drive dynamic, data-led decision-making to maximise margin and conversion

Performance and analytics

12. Embed commercial analytics into everyday decision-making

13. Track performance, identify opportunities and act quickly where change is needed

Leadership and ways of working

14. Lead and develop an international commercial team

15. Create clear ways of working, strong collaboration and a culture focused on pace, ownership and continuous improvement

What we are looking for

This role will suit someone who combines strong commercial judgement with the ability to operate in change.

You will bring:

16. Senior commercial leadership experience in travel or a comparable consumer business

17. Proven ownership of product, sourcing, pricing and commercial performance

18. Experience working across multiple markets and distribution channels

19. Strong financial and analytical capability, comfortable using data to drive decisions

20. A track record of building and leading high-performing teams

21. Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally

Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages such as German, French or Dutch are an advantage.
