Overview
AA Euro Group are seeking an experienced Slipform Foreman to join a major residential construction project in West London. This role will focus on the successful delivery of reinforced concrete cores using slipform systems across multi-storey residential blocks.
You will take full responsibility for coordinating slipform operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage daily slipform operations on site
* Coordinate
o Slipform crews
o Steel fixers
o Concrete teams
o Crane operations
* Ensure works are carried out in line with
o Approved drawings
o Specifications
o Programme requirements
* Monitor and control
o Concrete pours (continuous operations)
o Vertical alignment and tolerances
o Climbing rates and sequencing
* Carry out regular quality checks on
o Reinforcement placement
o Formwork alignment
o Finished concrete
* Ensure compliance with
o Health & Safety regulations
o Method statements and risk assessments
o Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks
* Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues quickly
* Liaise with
o Site management team
o Engineers
o Subcontractors
* Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
Key Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience as a Slipform Foreman on multi-storey RC structures
* Strong background in reinforced concrete (RC) construction
* Experience delivering residential cores / high-rise structures
* Excellent understanding of
o Continuous concrete pours
o Vertical tolerances and alignment
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Desirable
* Experience on large residential developments in London
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
* First Aid certification
* Knowledge of jumpform/climbing formwork systems (e.g. Doka, PERI)
* Experience working with tier 1 or leading RC frame contractors
