This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a business that delivers high-end commercial fit-out projects across various sectors. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, our client is seeking a Contracts Manager who can lead from the front — ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
The Role
As the Contracts Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the project portfolio from a contractual and operational perspective. You’ll work closely with the on-site delivery teams and clients, ensuring each project is meticulously planned, legally compliant, financially controlled, and completed safely.
You’ll also play a key role in team leadership, stakeholder management, and project execution — making this a vital position within the company’s operations function.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule all project activities in collaboration with the pre-construction team
* Coordinate and manage internal staff and external subcontractors across multiple live sites
* Ensure health & safety and building control compliance throughout all phases of the projects
* Oversee financial performance, monitoring budgets, forecasting cash flow, and reporting variances
* Lead stakeholder communication, acting as the key liaison between the site teams, clients, and internal departments
* Mentor and develop project teams, ensuring professional growth and high performance
* Ensure quality standards are met at every stage of delivery
What We’re Looking For

You’ll have:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior-level contracts, operations, or project management role (ideally within the commercial fit-out or construction sector)
* A proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to manage diverse teams and stakeholders
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
* A detailed understanding of H&S regulations and building control requirements
