Hourly Rate: £16.62
Contract Type: Temporary
Working Pattern: Full Time
Location: Badminton Road Council Offices, Yate
About the Role:
As an ICT Helpdesk Technician, you'll be the frontline support for our education customers, delivering technical assistance through telephone support, remote troubleshooting, and site visits. You'll play a vital role in ensuring users receive timely and effective solutions to their technical issues, all while maintaining a seamless educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line remote support, following defined processes to assist users with their ICT needs.
utilise remote support tools to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Deliver service desk support in a busy environment, prioritising workloads to meet peak demands.
Accurately update service desk software, specifically using Connectwise Manage.
Showcase a strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems and M365 products, including education-specific applications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective service delivery and foster a positive work culture.
Set up, adjust, and maintain technical equipment as required.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a service desk environment, preferably within the education sector.
Familiarity with Connectwise Manage is desirable.
Strong IT and numeracy skills, with confidence in navigating software packages.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
A team player who contributes to collective goals and supports colleagues.
Proven ability to prioritise workloads under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
