Protocol Education is working alongside a welcoming Primary School in Gateshead to support them with day-to-day and short-term supply cover. It’s a school that values kindness, teamwork and consistency, where support staff are genuinely appreciated and included.
The role will involve:
* Supporting pupils in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Helping the class teacher keep learning flowing smoothly
* Offering calm reassurance and encouragement throughout the day
* Supporting children with their work, routines and confidence
* Promoting positive behaviour through patience and clear expectations
* Being a reliable, friendly presence pupils can trust
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children
* Brings a calm, caring and flexible approach
* Enjoys supporting learning
* Communicates clearly with staff and pupils alike
* Has the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
