Overview
We're looking for a friendly, reliable Catering Assistant to join our small (but growing) coffee trailer, serving great coffee, cakes, sausage rolls, and generously loaded toasted sandwiches.
We've only recently opened and are building our customer base, so this is an exciting time to join us. We're looking for someone who can stay calm, positive, and welcoming, and who enjoys being part of something local and community-focused.
This is a hands-on role in a compact kitchen space where teamwork, good energy, and great service really matter.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing and serving coffee, cakes, sausage rolls, and toasted sandwiches
* Delivering warm, friendly customer service and building rapport with regulars
* Handling payments and keeping the trailer clean and organised
* Opening and/or closing the trailer independently when required
* Supporting with simple social media content (photos, short videos, daily specials) – a big plus
Hours
Thursdays & Fridays | 10 am–2 pm
We are also looking at introducing Saturdays, particularly on Norwich match days, so flexibility to work additional shifts would be a big advantage.
Flexibility for holiday cover is highly desirable.

About You
* Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a coffee shop is essential
* Confident working independently and able to open/close on your own
* Friendly, proactive, and reliable
* Comfortable working in a small team and compact space
* Happy to help promote the business and be part of growing something from the ground up
This role would suit someone who enjoys chatting with customers, takes pride in great service, and wants to play a part in building a welcoming local spot.
