Talent Acquisition Partner (12-Month Contract) – UK
Location: Boulby Mine, on-site
Benefits: 26 days holiday (pro rata), 5% employer pension contribution (via Champions)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to join our UK HR team on a 12‑month contract, working on-site at Boulby Mine. This position will support end-to-end recruitment across all UK business entities, partnering closely with hiring managers, HR, and the wider European Talent Acquisition team.
This role sits alongside our Poland-based Talent Acquisition Partner, who supports EU recruitment. Your focus will be UK hiring, spanning a wide range of operational, technical, engineering, commercial, and corporate roles across multiple UK sites and business units.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced TA role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, excellent prioritisation skills, and a proactive sourcing mindset. You’ll play a key part in improving processes, enhancing the candidate experience, and ensuring high‑quality hiring outcomes for the UK business.
The Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for UK-based vacancies across all UK entities: job intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation, and offer management.
* Develop tailored recruitment strategies for each vacancy in collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring proactive and targeted approaches that align with business needs.
* Source talent across Europe using direct search, talent pooling, market insights, and digital sourcing techniques.
* Deliver an excellent candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and transparency.
* Partner with stakeholders - HR, hiring managers, and business leaders - to ensure alignment, advisory support, and strong recruitment outcomes.
* Collaborate with the European TA team on shared projects, knowledge exchange, employer branding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain strong data quality within the ATS (SuccessFactors) and support audit readiness and compliance requirements.
* Represent the TA function professionally onsite, promoting best practices and ensuring consistency across UK recruitment activity.
About You
You are a driven and collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner with strong communication skills and a solutions‑focused mindset. You enjoy working independently, building trusted relationships, and managing a busy and varied workload. You’re naturally curious, resilient, and motivated by finding the right talent for both niche and high‑volume roles.
The Requirements
* 3–5+ years of full‑cycle recruitment experience, ideally in‑house or within a complex, matrixed environment.
* Strong experience hiring for a range of roles (corporate, technical, engineering, operational or similar).
* Comfortable working onsite and partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficient with ATS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred) and digital sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
* Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategies.
* Solid understanding of talent pooling, candidate pipelines, and market mapping.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to build strong and authentic relationships.
What We Offer
* A dynamic, international environment with the opportunity to impact hiring across multiple business units.
* The freedom to experiment with new sourcing ideas and recruitment strategies.
* A role with real variety, ownership, and visibility across the organisation.
