AMP Manager – Kent Part-time | 10 hours/week (5 on Saturdays 5 during the week) Fixed-Term Contract (35 weeks/year) Based at Hillsong Kent We’re looking for someone passionate about the performing arts, youth empowerment, and excellent organisation to join our team as AMP Manager at Hillsong Kent. This part-time role is a key leadership position within the Amplified Arts Academy, Hillsong UK’s performing arts programme for young people aged 4–17. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the weekly operations of the programme at our Kent location – supporting teachers, coordinating volunteers, managing parent communication, handling venue logistics, and making sure Saturday mornings run with heart and excellence. You’ll work closely with our central AMP Oversight team, while also building strong local connections with church teams, families, and the wider community. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s organised, proactive, and passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and creativity. What You’ll Be Doing AMP Operations Lead on-site programme delivery on Saturdays, serving as Safeguarding Lead, First Aider, Fire Marshal, and Keyholder Manage venue logistics including bookings, payments, health & safety, and risk assessments Coordinate termly schedules and weekly class rosters with AMP Oversight Ensure high-quality teaching aligned with AMP’s syllabus in partnership with Stream Leads Oversee enrolment and onboarding using Class Manager, maintaining student records and progress Finance & Admin Track and process teacher hours and freelance payments Manage student fee payments, bursaries, and resource purchasing Support budget tracking and financial reporting in collaboration with AMP Oversight Communications & Promotion Be the first point of contact for parents and new enquiries Send out regular updates to families and staff Lead local outreach, school engagement, and promotional activity Manage AMP Kent’s social media presence People & Culture Build a strong volunteer team and foster a great team culture Encourage congregation involvement in AMP and integrate the programme into wider church life Work with the AMP team to plan and deliver showcases, church involvement, and community performances What We’re Looking For Character & Faith A committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Actively involved in Hillsong Church and passionate about its mission Friendly, welcoming, and energised by working with people Motivated, solution-focused, and joyful in service Experience & Skills Experience in administration within a church, charity, education, or arts setting Comfortable in a public-facing role, ideally with children, young people, or families Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail Confident using Word, Excel, and Canva, with the ability to pick up new systems (like Class Manager) Familiar with health & safety and safeguarding expectations (DBS check required) Bonus if you have experience in the arts or running a performing arts programme If you're organised, creative, and ready to help make AMP Kent a place where kids grow in confidence and creativity, we’d love to hear from you.
