SEN Teacher with KS4 Lead Responsibilities
Location: Hillingdon Manor School, Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £51,200 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Overview
We are seeking an experienced teacher (QTS or QTLS) to join our secondary site in a school that supports pupils with autism and complex needs. The role includes leading a curriculum area in KS4, delivering personalised teaching, and contributing to a positive learning environment for students aged 11–19.
Responsibilities
* Teach pupils in a fun and engaging way, delivering the National Curriculum through differentiated lessons.
* Lead in a particular curriculum area and contribute to school improvement with ideas and forward-thinking approaches.
* Provide guidance and feedback to KS4 staff; work with support staff to ensure pupils receive the required support and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Assess pupil progress, provide feedback to senior leaders, parents, and carers, and support pupils to achieve their individual targets.
* Promote the school’s vision and values and contribute to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
* Experience teaching in an SEN setting or with pupils who have complex additional needs.

Hillingdon Manor School offers specialist education for pupils aged from 3.5 to 19, across two sites. We provide smaller class sizes and personalised teaching to help pupils work towards appropriate qualifications based on their needs and abilities. Note: 4DWW (4-Day Working Week) is subject to probation and is not a contractual benefit. You will be paid for 100% of contracted hours while working 80% of those hours.
