Our client, a successful and growing manufacturing organisation based in Port Talbot, is looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join their on-site finance team. You'll gain exposure to all aspects of transactional finance and month-end reporting, with full support and training provided.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Managing the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger processes
2. Assisting with Credit Control (training given - a small part of the role)
3. Completing accurate Bank Reconciliations and maintaining cashbook records
4. Supporting the Site Management Accountant with month-end tasks and management accounts preparation
5. Assisting with ad hoc finance duties and projects as needed
What We're Looking For:
6. Experience in an accounts role (Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger ideal) or currently studying AAT
7. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
8. Confident using Excel and accounting systems
9. A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
10. Team player who enjoys working in a busy finance environment
