Stock Optimisation Business Project Manager – (Stock Allocation and Replenishment)
Primark is recruiting a Project Manager to lead the Stock Optimisation pillar of its Product Model Programme. This role will deliver a high‑impact Allocation and Replenishment solution, driving change across systems, processes, and ways of working.
Responsibilities
* Champion the project within the business, driving engagement and buy‑in from stakeholders.
* Ensure business requirements are accurately captured and translated into system design and processes.
* Manage multiple work streams and projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in relation to overall deliverables, including hand‑over to service on successful project delivery.
* Manage day‑to‑day operational aspects of projects, including communications to team, stakeholders and executives, developing and agreeing the communication plan.
* Validate that the implemented solutions meet the defined business requirements and objectives.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to business operations, including disruption during implementation.
* Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between the technical team and business units to align technical solutions with business objectives.
* Vendor management, including meeting targets and timelines.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of Project Management experience.
* Experience working with retail systems is advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools; formal qualifications desirable.
* Experience in delivering large‑scale projects involving multiple business and technology streams.
* Knowledge of retail or merchandising operations.
