Responsibilities
* Supporting the Nursery Manager with day‑to‑day running of the nursery
* Helping to lead and motivate the staff team to maintain high standards of care and education
* Ensuring the delivery of engaging learning experiences in line with EYFS
* Supporting staff development and maintaining a positive team culture
* Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Supporting safeguarding, compliance, and operational standards
* Promoting outdoor learning opportunities, including forest school activities
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
* Previous experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager – essential
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
* A nurturing and child‑focused approach to early years care
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to support staff and build positive relationships with families
* Passion for outdoor learning and child development
Compensation: Up to £35,300 per annum | 40 hours per week
