Location: Cheltenham / Gloucestershire
Salary band: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Clearance: Willingness to undergo a security clearance process is required

What You'll Be Doing
Providing first and second-line technical support across complex virtualised environments
Monitoring system performance to ensure stability, availability, and seamless functionality
Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation to support operational excellence
Supporting compliance with established processes, standards, and security policies
What You'll Bring
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Experience working to ITIL best practices
A mindset focused on root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
A collaborative approach - sharing knowledge and learning from others
A proactive attitude towards identifying risks, issues, and opportunities
Desirable Skills
Deep understanding of virtualisation technologies
Experience installing, upgrading, configuring, or supporting: Windows Server 2016/2019, AWS, Azure
Knowledge of Red Hat technologies (Satellite 6, OpenShift 3/4, RHEL/CentOS, CoreOS)
Understanding of Active Directory (OU creation, RBAC, DFS)
Familiarity with VSAN, SCVMM, Hyper-V
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Git)
Awareness of McAfee EPO/ENS
