Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance person to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair tasks in our facilities. The Maintenance person will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our premises.
Responsibilities
* Assisting the Maintenance team with our refurbishment programme.
* Perform general maintenance tasks and safety checks using an electronic system.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly
* Ensuring our grounds are kept well presented and safe for our residents and their families.
* Be able to use basic hand tools as required.
* Handle plumbing and electrical repairs as needed
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or projects
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
* Liaise with Home Manager and Admin staff as needed.
Skills
* Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or related field
* Strong knowledge of various tools and equipment used in maintenance work
* Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
* Physical strength and stamina to handle manual labor
