Are you a Sports Coach looking to increase your work hours?
Have you experience managing Challenging Behaviour?
Have you considered using Sports to encourage classroom and outdoor learning?
This role is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
This vibrant and inclusive school caters to children and young people (age 3-11) with various SEN including SEMH, Attachment Disorder, Autism, ADHD, Aggression, and LAC backgrounds.
Your role involves supporting class teachers and multi-agency teams to devise learning and care plans, encouraging children and young people to reach their full potential.
You will need to set clear boundaries and manage triggers of challenging behaviour while supporting children academically, emotionally, and socially.
The ideal candidate:
* Experience working within an education setting is not required but experience working with young people in support roles is desired.
* Experience managing Challenging Behaviour in educational, secure, residential, or support settings.
* Background in Challenging SEN Provisions, Youth/Community/Social services, Residential Support, or Mental Health Support Services (including CRISIS or Suicide prevention).
* Team Teach, Mappa, Nappi, or Pillars training is desirable but not necessary.
* Ability to provide a full career history and two referees.
* Must have a Clear Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (we can assist with application).
